PRINT & SIGNWRITING WANGARATTA

Not every signage job needs a workshop full of acrylic and aluminium. Large-format print and cut vinyl signwriting are the fast, affordable end of the range - graphics that go from artwork to installed in days, not weeks, for the promotions, fit-outs and everyday jobs that cannot wait on a fabrication queue. It is also the highest-volume work we do, because most businesses need more printed and cut graphics through the year than they need one-off fabricated pieces.

SignPro Wangaratta prints and cuts everything under this pillar in-house: large-format posters, panels and murals, cut vinyl signwriting for windows and vehicles, stickers, decals and labels, banners and flags for events and promotions, and A-frames for the footpath. One print run or one roll of vinyl can cover a shopfront window, a vehicle door and a stack of product labels alike, which is why print work sits at the centre of so many jobs across North East Victoria.

Speed and price are only half the story - the material and laminate you choose decide whether a sign looks tired after two years or still holds its colour after five. We specify calendered or cast vinyl, and a matching laminate grade, to the job in front of us rather than defaulting to whatever is cheapest, so a short campaign is never over-specified and a permanent piece is never under-built.

PRINTED PROPERLY

The print is the easy part. What decides whether a graphic still looks right in year three is the film under it and the laminate over it.

PRINT

Wide-Format Digital

Full-colour printing at width, matched to your brand colours and proofed to scale before the job runs.

FILMS

Cast And Calendered

Cast film for curves, vehicles and long-life work; calendered for flat, shorter-term jobs. We tell you which you are buying and why.

PROTECTION

UV-Stable Laminates

Printed work is sealed under laminate so colour holds against summer sun and the graphic survives washing and highway grime.

TURNAROUND

Printed In Wangaratta

Printing and cutting happen in our own workshop, so small runs and reprints do not wait on a Melbourne supplier.

BUILT FOR THE CONDITIONS

PRINT & SIGNWRITING, DONE PROPERLY

Large-format print and cut vinyl signwriting cover most of what leaves this workshop. Digital print handles full-colour graphics, photography and detailed artwork on anything from a shopfront panel to a wall mural, while cut vinyl signwriting produces solid-colour lettering, logos and striping directly from vector paths - the classic choice for vehicle doors, windows and simple high-contrast signs where a printed graphic is not needed.

The material decision is where a cheap sign and a lasting one part ways. Calendered vinyl is the economical choice for flat panels and shorter campaigns, while cast vinyl costs more but conforms to curves and holds its colour and adhesion for years longer. Add a UV-stable laminate over any printed graphic and you are protecting the ink from sun and scuffing rather than leaving it exposed - the difference between a sign that needs reprinting in two years and one still presentable in five. We specify honestly against how long you actually need the piece to last, not the most expensive option on the list.

Every print and cut job happens at our Vincent Road workshop in Wangaratta, not somewhere in Melbourne with a courier in between. That matters most when something goes wrong or changes fast: a damaged decal, a phone number that changed, a reprint after a stocktake. Small runs and single reprints that a metro supplier would batch into a weekly run go straight onto our own printer and cutter, so turnaround is measured in days, not a shipping schedule.

Stickers, decals and labels, banners and flags, and A-frame signs round out the pillar - the smaller, faster products that support a bigger signage plan rather than replace it. A business that has already invested in fabricated fascia lettering or 3D signage still needs event banners, product labels and a footpath A-frame for the day-to-day, and running both through the one supplier keeps the whole visual identity consistent. Across Wangaratta, Wodonga, Benalla and the wider region, print work is usually the first signage a growing business orders and the type it reorders most often.
